IMBOLC TEMPLE BUILDING CELEBRATION
Sunday, February 1, 2015
12:00pm - 1:00pm
Please join us for the celebration of Imbolc in a temple building ceremony at Elk Park in Steamboat Springs.
Meet at the small parking lot across from the library on 13th Street and we will walk into the park together. If you have native American or animal type artifacts or symbols you'd like to bring to honor the local spirit).
Imbolc is the ancient mid-winter ceremony for bringing back the light, halfway between Winter Solstice and the Vernal Equinox. It honors the Goddess Brigid, keeper of the light.
Temple building is a way to ignite, open and honor the sacred space of the land. Elk Park has been chosen as our first temple location because it lies on several energetic lines and the hot springs of this area have been used for 13,000 years as sacred ground. Together we will be waking up many more temples in our area.
