Last week we talked about the world that no longer serves us, and how letting go of the masculine energy will help us step into the Divine Feminine. What's been on my mind lately is the community I know I will be a part of creating soon. Since living on an "intentional community" in Oregon in the 1990s, I have wanted to create a community with intention. One with a lot of land in the woods, with huge gardens to support its residents, and with a group of people who want to make the world a better place. If the last 18 months have taught me anything, it's that this vision of mine is more important to manifest than ever. More and more of my friends are talking about similar visions, and I know many thought leaders of our time have talked about this concept being perhaps our only shot at healing and repairing what damage we've done to Mother Earth. In this model lies the true human potential and defines a new way to be human. A way that thinks about the whole again—the collective; the community; the future. Letting go of the "nuclear family" model and embracing the communal family model again. This is actually the "old way," isn't it? Where tribes took care of each other, and built sustainable systems with longevity as a goal, thinking about a world they were building (and leaving) for their children and grandchildren. We've lost this way in our modern industrial age, and now is the time to recreate some of that model, with adjustments that fit our modern age. This "new" way is a way to connect and bridge those worlds—and connection is indeed a key to unlocking that true human potential. So, in the spirit of connection, write to me, and tell me, if you were to create a community like this, what would you want to see included? Skies the limit. Think of the collective.
