Crystal grids, energy of the equinox & childlike visualization

About a month ago, my gatekeeper guide, Merlin, reminded me that I need to return to Crystal Gridding—layouts of crystals to amplify their power. I stored the idea away, and then when we were shopping for a crystal for our 15th anniversary, we walked into a store that had crystals layouts all over the store. I haven't been to a crystal shop in a long while, but the last two I was in didn't have any grids. So of course, I took this as a second reminder.

Then, the equinox came, and when I took a few crystals outside to bathe in the full moon equinox energy, one by one, all of our crystals said "take me outside too!" Before I knew it, we had a giant layout on our deck. I decided to leave it there to marinate in that beauty of color.

I urge you to take your stones and make a layout. If this become something you love, seek out Melody's book titled the Laying on of Stones, because crystal layouts can be a compelling practice! But start simple, with a towel or a piece of fabric (I like my old elk hide I traded for about 2 decades ago!), and start with a design—perhaps a circle, or a star, or a square.

Let the crystals and your intentions guide you, perhaps write your intentions on a piece of paper and place the layout over that, and then use this as an alter for meditation and visualization for the next week, two, or more. Don't overthink the layout, and if after a day you want to switch it up, that's okay! Think of it like a child's play of imagination, and let your heart open up while doing it.
